A focal wall worth remembering

A worn recliner and bare walls gave buyers nothing to hold on to. A chocolate sofa, an oversized tonal triptych and a travertine-tone table now give the room a calm, collected centre.

The hearth, given back its purpose

The brick fireplace was hiding behind a camp bed and boxes. We framed it with an arched mirror and gathered cream lounge chairs around it, so the fireplace reads as the heart of the room.

Desks and cables had taken over the bay window. Clearing it for a cream sectional, a linen floor lamp and a soft floral rug shows buyers how this room is meant to be lived in.
